I am a recent graduate of the University of Reading, where I studied BA English Literature with Creative Writing (2:1). I am currently working as a Master Data Administrator at Kier.
I’ve long been interested in charity work and corporate social social responsibility. My interest began when I first did work experience with Tracy Kenny, a corporate storyteller, in 2011. I’ve since completed a summer internship as a Media and Fundraising Intern at The Matthew Project in 2013. It was through this internship that I first learnt about Rotary, through my manager at the time, Sharon Hulbert, who used to be a member of Norwich Blackfriars Rotary Club.
From there I was then sponsored to do the RYLA leadership course at Grafham Water Centre, in the summer of 2014. Since then I completed my final year of university, whilst being a part of the Social Committee for the Kickboxing Society. In the past few months I was recruited by Kieran John, and reconnected with my Rotary sponsor, Norwich Blackfriars.
I’m looking forward to getting more involved with Rotaract, and with the local and international community projects.
